As residents of the South French Broad community and stake holders in the local tree canopy. We, the undersigned, would like the City of Asheville to consider planting trees around the Asheville Housing Authority at 165 S. French Broad. We believe that planting a substantial number of trees on this property would help blend this municipal building into the neighborhood, contribute to the city's goals of increasing the urban tree canopy and provide needed shade along a bare portion of sidewalk.
