Stop the decision by The Horry County School District to adopt a policy that will allow transgender students to use the restroom consistent with their gender identity.

This violates the safety and privacy of our students.

Students should use the restroom consistent with their gender of birth unless the school provides a single occupant facility.

The emails I am receiving from concerned families show this is exactly the right time to push back. I am currently reaching out to local board members to demand a formal response.

I will pull my child from school and home school her if this becomes a law.. Nothing against transgendered.. But what about the locker rooms she will have to change in.. With her at least 1 credit of PE she has to take.. This opens way to many bad doors

I don't agree with this at all... my personal opinion is have a girl restroom ( for girls ) a boys restroom ( for boys ) and a single stall unisex restroom ( for everyone else ) If boys r allowed in female restroom I can see it being taking advantage of.

You can not trust people enough for a policy of this sort. Anyone can wear a dress with make-up for a day or dress boyish and potentially harm my children. It's not exactly fair to make others uncomfortable so you can be more comfortable...

I don't want any boys in the bathroom with my daughter, it's inappropriate, nor do I want a girl in the bathroom with my son. Provide a single occupancy facility for those whom don't feel comfortable using the facility of their actual gender.

How about the rights of the ones who are forced to be apart of this law that disagree? We should keep it men's restroom and women's restroom and let each according to his birth go to the one that matches what they were called at birth, male or female.

As a grandparent and great-grandparent of Horry County Schools, and a taxpayer, I oppose the District's decision to adopt this policy. Don't be bullied by threats of law suits. Do what's right for the safety and privacy of our children.
