I am a 17 year old, soon to be former Lyman high school student, And I belive the school is using me to meet the expectations of the school board for the situation. On the 20th a huge fight broke out next to the court yard & One of my friends had about 8 people jumping him, When I came to his aid, I was punched in the back of the head & stomped until one of my friends then came to my aid, soon after the fight was broken up, & we were taken to the office to explain what happened, the person who initiated the fight was expelled, which is understandable, but the next day me and my friend were called into the office & recommended to alternative schooling (temporary expulsion until we complete the Exel program) Meanwhile, the Dean had the person in the office who could have told him who punched me in the head, and stomped me, But I belive he let them go unpunished in exchange for information about the fight. Other participants were referred with 10 day out of school suspension. I belive someone had to be expelled in order to meet the school board's policy for this situation and me and my friend were used as scapegoats to be made an example of. Also, I belive I may have got a concussion from the punch and was never shown medical attention and my mother wasn't notified until the next day. My mother has called the school numerous times, and the principle told her that I violated school policy and he has every right to expel me, while everybody else involved was let off with suspensions. So sign here if you want the expulsions of Chris Lawrence, And Louis Rodriguez reversed.
The amount of people backing this has reached a point where the school can no longer pretend this is just a minor disciplinary issue. It has been an exhausting road to get this far but seeing this support keeps me going when I want to quit. We are going to keep pushing until someone finally answers for what happened.

This is completely unfair. He was just helping his friend who was getting jumped! The school needs to get their facts straight instead of just punishing the victims.

Total garbage. School admins just want easy numbers for their reports so they throw kids under the bus. Ridiculous.

Where was the medical help?? That poor kid could have a brain injury and they just sent him home? Unbelievable.
