Please sign this Petition to give your support to reduce the speed limit on SR 314. If you or someone you know have been effected by the Intersection, or you have witnessed an accident on SR 314, we need your support. Over the years there have been an alarmingly high number of Vehicle accidents and fatalities's at the intersection of Westley Drive and SR 314. Vehicles leaving Westley Drive to make a left or right have little visibility to the left. Drivers have to go beyond the walkway lines to see the vehicles coming down SR 314. There are two different speed limit signs on SR 314, 40 mph and 45 mph. All too often drivers are traveling above the speed limit, which is the major cause of accidents. The speed limit on Tara Blvd is 45 mph. There are Homes and Schools on SR 314, why should the speed limit be the same as Tara Blvd?
Georgia Department of Transportation we need your help with this issue. Please assist our State Representatives as they speak for the communities that have elected them.

This intersection is extremely dangerous to come out of. It’s view is immensely obstructed by trees bushes & more things. I strongly feel a stop light more stop signs or something to that effect be places at this intersection quickly.
This intersection is nestled between 2 hills. It is a DEATH TRAP!!! And I mean that literally. Many have been Blessed to tell their stories,
Please create a safe driving environment so no one is hurt and no more lives are lost. The family who experienced this accident will forever be traumatized by this accident.
This is serious so PLEASE act like it’s serious! We cannot afford to be complacent. Lives are at stake!
Its a bad intersection.
