Sanparks (particularly Kruger National Park) needs to seriously shift its attention to keeping the animals in the park safer. They have poachers to contend with, natural predators and now the possibility of being killed by impatient drivers in the parks. There should NEVER be such a thing as 'roadkill' in any animal park! This is at least one place where they can be safe and respect should be shown to them! Sanparks needs to employ traffic officers to keep the speeds people are driving in check. They have to be stricter! For the sake of our innocent animals!
The momentum behind this petition highlights a collective desire to protect the wildlife within Kruger National Park. This growing interest indicates that the safety of these animals is a significant priority for the public. I am currently preparing to present these concerns to the management at Sanparks.

Our first sighting on our last visit was a roadkill! Heartbreaking to say the least!

The only thing that annoys us every time we go to Kruger is the terrible driving and disrespect to animals and other vehicles. It needs to stop! Only time we've encountered angry ellies is due to some idiot chasing them for a photo or even hooting to make them move. Insanity!

I've just been to the park in Dec and witnessed 2 dead impala clearly knocked by a car. I also witnessed the car in front of me speeding at camp closing time and hit an impala. It went summersaulting across the road and ran into the Bush. It's terrible what's happening to the animals due to speeding.

Animals also have the RIGHT to live. STOP killing.
