Roger Villere must resign from his Chairmanship of the LA GOP
Resolved by one and all of the undersigned. The current Chairman, the Republican Party of Louisiana Roger Villere must resign his position in the party to ensure party unity and punish him for his villainous actions taken during the LAGOP convention 2012. Mr. Villere made use of the Louisiana state police to enforce arbitrary rules instituted by him only 19 hours before the start of the convention.
Since the majority did not accept these last minute rule changes Mr. Villary directed the state police to silence the duly elected representatives of the majority. This was illegal and immoral and caused grievous harm to the party. Additionally, injuries were sustained by the members that were falsely arrested. For these actions Mr. Villary deserves shame and scorn and we demand he resign with out delay.
We the undersigned demand that he step down and apologize to the Ron Paul delegation for his uncivil and unlawful conduct. We also ask that this matter be investigated by internal investigators of the Shreveport police and the Louisiana State troopers because the free speech of citizens was violated and there was no grounds to use the police to keep Mr. Villary in power or silence political dissent. If this is not done we fear it will cause disunity in Tampa and embarrassment to the sitting governor Bobby Jindal as Mr. Villary seemed to be using the state police under his control to enforce the political will of the Governor in addition to his own.
Signed
