Parents and friends of children at Sir James Knott Nursery School are hoping to persuade North Tyneside Council that our children need a safe way to cross the road. Parents and carers, who often have more than one child to look after, currently struggle across the very busy Tynemouth Road in order to access and leave the nursery school. It is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. We think the 100 plus children who cross the road every day deserve a safe place to cross and need your support to lobby for a dedicated pelican crossing.
