Outside of Bexton School in Knutsford on Blackhill Lane and Bexton Lane are 3 crossings for pedestrians. The issue with these crossings are multiple. 1. Motorists are not obliged to stop. 2. Cars often park across or very close to these crossings making it difficult for motorists to see young children crossing. There has been a spate of near misses at these crossings over the years and we politefully request Cheshire East hold a thorough review and afford Bexton the same courtesy as other schools in Knutsford and install a proper crossing with parking restrictions close by, or employ a Lollipop person to ensure the safety of the school children.
