Safety First PediAquatic's Plan to Save More Lives from Drownings

Safety First Pediaquatic's is currently in the process of getting conditional use approved for an indoor facility through the city of St. Cloud. We need conditional use approved due to planning to operate in an industrial warehouse with an above ground pool, something that has never been done before in our city. Through teaching out of a residential pool and dealing with weather climates, it makes it more difficult to expand to more people in our area and be open for our children all year long. We need to ensure this specific facility model is approved through the Council Member's, and we know with the help of the community, we can show them the importance of this business expanding.
SFPA's mission is to become a huge asset to the community of St. Cloud, FL and surrounding areas. We will prosper by focusing on saving one child at a time. It is our duty to introduce children to the water by first and foremost learning to understand and respect the water while enjoying the many benefits water has on us in our lives. With drowning being the number one preventable death in infants and toddlers and number two preventable deaths for children 5 to 12 years of age, we strive to make that no longer a possibility for each and every child we meet.
Please help SFPA make this a possibility for our community!

I was looking at the screen and just realized how many people actually care about getting these kids into a safe indoor pool because it honestly feels like local momentum is finally shifting in our favor. It is wild to think about moving out of the residential setup and into a real warehouse space but seeing this level of interest makes me think we might actually pull this off.

This is definitely needed! The program is awesome and has helped my daughter learn the survival skills needed when in the water. Having classes all year, will help her and other children maintain their skills, become stronger swimmers, and most of all keep them SAFE!
Becky has been teaching my granddaughter how to swim she has done an amazing job.She has given us piece of mind knowing that if Amelia gets into a situation where she falls into a pool or goes into a lake that she has the ability to float or swim to safety.
Strongly support. Water everywhere in Fl, my son learned to “swim” or at least drown proof before he could walk and at age 3 those lessons saved his life. This is common place, indoor, up north. Should be available to all kids and weather is an issue.
Absolutely necessary. Shame on you, City of Saint Cloud, for making this business jump through these completely ridiculous hoops.
We need to expand programs like this to get to every child and family with young children. Fourteen years ago my good friend lost her three year old in a swimming pool drowning. She still suffers the loss of her child like it happened yesterday. Please help save children!

My toddler HAS fallen into our pool before and was able to rescue herself even faster than I could get to her, thanks to her lessons from Pediaquatics!
