First of all let me say that I am no way affiliated with GouletPens.com, just a repeatedly satisfied customer. GouletPens.com is a wonderful retailer that provides great services for the fountain pen community. One of the few retailers that offers samples of all their inks and the only retailer I know of that has the Sailor line of inks among them. Along with their great customer service and great products they also have accurate swatches of all their inks which is easy to use and compare other inks with. They also allow their customers to rate and review the inks which helps customers get a sense of what the inks are like before making a purchase. It is hard to judge what an ink will look like which is why the services that the Goulet's provide, help the customers choose the inks more wisely and gives them a confidence that not all retailers assure them. This is why I don't think Itoya (Sailor's US distributor) should be dropping them from being an authorized retailer. This is a decision that should truly be reconsidered.
