Samsung have just released their latest marketing spiel to promote their Galaxy phone. It's waterproof and used this feature to one up Apple 5s because their phone is waterproof. Hence able to survive the "ALS ice bucket challenge" taking a charitable cause and twisted it as a marketing tool.

MND is a horrific condition, a fatal condition and is using the charitable actions of others to plug their phones. It's marketing at it's worst and they should be ashamed and held accountable!

What is MND?

Motor neurone disease (MND) is the name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells (neurones) controlling the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow undergo degeneration and die.
Micrograph of motor neurone endosomeMotor function is controlled by the upper motor neurones in the brain that descend to the spinal cord; these neurones activate lower motor neurones. The lower motor neurones exit the spinal cord and directly activate muscles. With no nerves to activate them, muscles gradually weaken and waste. MND can affect a person’s ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.
MND is known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in many parts of the world, and as Lou Gehrig's disease in the USA.

The ad? They call it "cute". I'm sorry I don't care how much you donate to the cause, it's not a marketing too to MAKE you money.

Someone needs to take responsibility for this and Samsung need a clear message they have crossed the line.

Sign the petition and let then know, we as consumers, as humans with compassion do NOT approve if this strategy to sell their phones. It's revolting!

Time to stand up and send them a clear message!
