Why adopt a dog?

Most pet stores purchase dogs from inhumane puppy mills. Mother and father dogs spend their entire lives in cramped cages with no quality of life. When they can no longer breed they are abandoned or killed. Adopting a dog from a shelter is one way to stop the cruelty of puppy mills. Additionally, by adopting a dog you’ll save their life. Each year in the United States 2.7 million animals are euthanized because they are not adopted. With so many dogs that need a home, you’ll be able to choose exactly what breed, size, color, and temperament to make a perfect fit for your lifestyle. Furthermore, adopting will save you money. Most rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Moreover, most are housetrained, which will save you money on your furniture and save you time not training him or her!
