We are trying to prevent the closure of Brentwood Lodge Specialist Elderly Care Home in Leyburn, a facility that is so desperately needed for the vulnerable elderly and Dementia patients here In Leyburn, Mid and Lower Wensleydale.
Planning approval has been granted to build 53 new elderly persons Extra Care Homes in Leyburn, this will be a welcome addition to the district, in the correct location, but the plan is to demolish Brentwood Lodge specialist care home when the new units have been completed. This area has an aging population and there will be a crisis looming in the near future with a shortage of elderly care homes. WE NEED TO PREVENT THIS - SAVE BRENTWOOD LODGE!
