We the parents and residents of Marple Newtown School District feel that the elimination of Dan Peters as a full time music teacher at Loomis Elementary is a huge mistake at the expense of our children. We are aware that adjustments need to be made to accommodate the budget but this action is moving our school in the wrong direction. The talent and creativity that Dan Peters provides affects the students in a positive manner. HE is the reason that a lot of our students even want to go to school. Since Dan Peters has been at Loomis we have heard nothing but wonderful things. It is so hard to find good committed teachers that actually have a true passion for what they do. Loomis has one of the best and we are at risk of losing him. Please sign this petition and let our voices be heard. We do not agree with the school board.
