In Las Colinas, speech is much more than just an elective. We have become a family. This class has taught us how to speak in front of people, how to not be afraid to talk to other people, how to become a family, how to deal with other people, how to handle rejection, how it feels to win, how it feels to come out of your shell and how to be themselves and shine. It makes us feel apart of something. No one has hated our speech team, teaching us amazing life skills that we couldn't learn from anywhere else at our school.
