The concerned citizens of the Berry Creek and other nearby neighborhoods petition The Texas Department of Transportation to evaluate the traffic hazard on TX Highway 195 in the area between intersections of 195 and Shell Road and the intersection of 195 and Berry Creek Drive. There have been numerous traffic accidents, resulting in serious injuries and fatalities in recent months. Current speed limit on 195 is 70 mph. Traveling south on that road offers limited sight distance, coming over a hill, as you prepare to enter the access road to I-35. Cars leaving Berry Creek Drive are especially exposed to dangerously fast approaching vehicles.
