The British Brass Band Registry (BBBR) has been successfully operated by Brass Bands England (formerly British Federation of Brass Bands or BFBB) since 1997, with full ownership rights assigned by Boosey & Hawkes in 2001 to the wholly owned subsidiary BFBB Contests Ltd.

I am clear that there can only be one definitive Registry of players for English contesting bands and in the light of the recent proposal from Kapitol Promotions Ltd. I am asking all English Brass Bands to give your continued support for the British Brass Band Registry (BBBR).
