Re: Matter of urgent importance of Technical Students in Jharkhand.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Hon’ble Sir,
I am final year Engineering student at KOLHAN UNIVERSITY CHAIBASA, and still waiting for 7th Semester exam result, When the other students got their degrees or cleared their 8th sem exam.
This is the problem faced by students every year and career is spoiled. We are not eligible for any posted jobs and neither we would called freshers by 2016 when we will get our degree.
#CAREER IS SPOILED. Atleast now take exams and declare result as soon as possible.
Resolve the issue so that our juniors don't face the same problem.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PROBLEMS FACED BY TECHNICAL YOUTH OF THE STATE:
1. No academic calendar is being followed by KOLHAN UNIVERSITY.
2. Academic sessions are extremely late.
3. Final year students don’t get their degrees on time
4. GATE scores for the academic year becomes invalid
5. Standard companies don’t come to the college for campus selection due to irregular & late session
6. Till date, KOLHAN UNIVERSITY has not framed courses of study, statutes and rules & regulation exclusively for the Technical courses.
7. State students studying on education-loan have different repayment problems
8. Students fail to opt for higher studies in different institutions/universities due to late session
9. Due to lack of co-relativity between college and the university, students face acute academic problems.
10. Students selected for jobs through campus selection fail to produce their certificates/degree on time resulting in termination of offer letter.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hon’ble sir, we have some amicable solution and initiatives as suggestion whose implementation can minimise the problems being faced by us:
1. Immediate establishment of state technical university in Jharkhand.
2. Meanwhile, KOLHAN UNIVERSITY authorities may kindly be asked to regularise the late session of Technical courses. (B.Tech/BBA/MCA/M.TECH/MBBS/MBA,etc.)
3. Implementation of winter and summer semester system strictly. [ODD SEM in December and EVEN SEM in May]
4. Publication of result within 21 days of examination held
5. Marks of scrutiny exams should be published within 7 days from publication of result.
6. Before the Technical University gets established, an effective Technical Cell be constituted exclusively for streamlining the technical education at KOLHAN UNIVERSITY.
7. Formation of Employment Cell under the guidance of KOLHAN UNIVERSITY for Technical students.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hon’ble Sir, in the light of aforesaid problems, we have also suggested some of the remedial which not only can safeguards our career goal but will also help to enhance our potential in the larger interest of the state, nation and the society.
Very earnestly and sincerely we pray to you for the redressal of our grievances. Meanwhile remain with sincere thanks.
