Starbucks Canada recently announced its plan to close our community Starbucks store at 2490 Bloor St. W. (Grenview Blvd. and Bloor St., across from the LCBO). For years this Starbucks location has been the hub of our community - a place where we share great coffee and deepen our connections. This is a place where many of us get our morning coffee before jumping on the subway, connect with friends or meet new ones, run into people in the neighbourhood, and in so many other ways stay connected to the place we live.

The scale of this response has reached a level that necessitates an immediate formal meeting with the regional Starbucks property management team. We are currently finalizing the documentation of our local impact assessment to present as the primary agenda item.

Please keep the Starbucks open. It’s an important part of our neighborhood and the other one is going to be dangerous with the traffic.
Relevant store to the community. Dont let a big corp make the decision without listening to their main supporters. The payers. The community
Please! We need this store in our neighbourhood. Not only is it a meeting place for many, it provides jobs for locals.
Shameful after 25 years of being our community hub and having our support that you would close. Thompson does not have enough space or parking to accommodate and is not in the main hub!
Please don't close. You are indeed a hub . I'd be happy to pay a dollar more for coffee! Your staff are awesome, it's a super friendly place. We love you!

Please don’t close this location. It’s a real hub for our community where neighbours have been gathering for years to socialize. The staff too has become part of our families.
