Save Our Lake County, Illinois, Lake Life
The natural water process has been impaired by pollutants and harmful algae, posing a risk to our marine life, pets and citizens.
The technology and systems now exist to monitor and treat lakes challenged with harmful algae blooms (HABS), and has been advanced by GlobalWaterWorks.org, started here in Lake County.

The proposal put forth by Lake County Lake Lovers is for three lakes, two of which are adjacent to teaching institutions. The $2.3M covers 5 years of work and the development of a scorecard to track progress. The proposal amount represents less than 2% of the American Rescue Plan Act's $135M allocation to Lake County. The proven solutions have been deployed in dozens of lakes around the world, and case studies are provided for similar lakes in Michigan and Missouri. The chemical-free treatment process was also showcased as the solution to HABS in last year's International Conference on Toxic Cyanobacteria by Wayne Carmichael, the leading expert on Toxic Cyanobacteria (http://bit.ly/HABS50 ).
HELP US PLACE LAKE COUNTY LAKES ON A PATH TO RESTORATION.
