It has come to light that there has been a new proposed plan put through by the Project Manager at Lochore Meadows Country Park to relocate the play park into the space where Local events such as Rockore, Pipe Band & Highland Dancing Competition, Motor Shows, Bark in the Park along with many other events take place whilst also reducing the size of the current destination playpark to 15% of what is currently there and with he remainder of the space being turned into an overflow carpark.
The people of Benarty and Fife DO NOT WANT to lose their event space nor do the children of Fife want to lose their playpark.
Please sign this petition in support to show Fife Council, that members of the Public are not in favour of this new proposed plan.

Not just locals look forward to these events. People far & wide come to enjoy these special events which are getting bigger & better each year. Brings in much need revenue for the area. Don't mess with things that are flourishing.
To reduce rather than expand a children's play area beggars belief, this has to be stopped and a proper public consultation put in place. Children is this area need safe outdoor spaces to play and learn not to have them taken away.
As a resident of benarty and a regular visitor to lochore meadows and all the events held there I want to voice my concerns at the latest proposal to put new play area on the arena area, no no and no. Can not find any positive reason for this suggestion
To loose this part of the park would be a travesty the money that it generates does not make good business sense to loose it , all the events that are delivered successfully throughout the year which benefits all surrounding communities
Would be foolish to move this park its been in the same place for years its what we like leave it be, the park brings lots of family's together with the events that get held hear every year, people come from all over Scotland to attend these
This is an absolute disgrace, the people who have worked tirelessly to make Benarty better have been used and cheated by people who don't know know what a close and great community this is.

The proposed park I'd far too small! Family's come from all over to visit here and the park there now Is large enough to cope with the numbers.. A smaller park won't be. Money spent at the cafe will also r reduce due to being further away.
