This petition is in response to hearing that our principal, Karen Gabruk, is being transferred out of our school to another elementary school. To say that we are outraged is an understatement. Our school has developed into a community atmosphere where our children flourish both academically and socially. Our test scores have consistently improved and our teachers have guided our children to achieve their utmost potential under Karen's guidance. Many of us have moved into the Barley Sheaf sending district because of the wonderful reputation that the school has and consistently maintained. We are outraged that we are in jeopardy of losing such a successful and hard-working leader that truly cares about our children. This is our children's education, we have once chance to get it right, and Karen and her staff have helped us to do that and do it in dynamic, unparalleled fashion. We are emphatically asking you to reconsider your decision. It is in the best interest of our children to maintain the consistent, challenging, and unparalleled leadership that they have come to embrace.
