Cadets and Army personnel at the city of Launceston have been left with sorrow of the knowledge of the Patterson Barracks being shut down. Although these barracks hold a special place for some of the Cadets and even Army personnel they do not wish to vacate and to withdraw from the barracks. With growing support within the community and foreign support, the barracks hold both significant histories in which the Cadets and Army personnel do not wish to depart from. So we ask you, to sign this very petition to halt the shutdown of the Patterson Barracks which has served our city of Launceston

But our History and it is a Great Location.
We need to save our barracks!
There will be a $5 Million dollar upgrade to Youngtown Depot, there are also plans for a barracks to be construed in the northern suburbs. Cadet activities will be relocated to Youngtown, which will benefit ADF Cadet's enormously with new state of the art facilities and larger training areas.
Australian army Cadets should not be shut down
It's terrible! It's an historical place and is still used!
