Keep Ratatoskr the Same

I don't think I can call this Ratatoskr "New and Improved". The rework on his kit was a more of a nerf to Ratatoskr and the only buffs I recognize is the knock up with the ult, the additional slow, flurry's shred of protection, and the acorn blast stun. I say the because his passive before was much more viable in my opinion. The Acorn of Yggdrasil gave players more flexibility and personal choice when choosing a playstyle. Topaz Acorn for CC, Opal Acorn for some serious crit damage in a team fight, Emerald Acorn for Sustain and Sapphire for some pen and heavy damage. With these going down to ONE acorn for Boots? It's a waste of an item slot in my opinion. Ninja Tabi and Hastened Fatalis will give you the movement speed you are looking for and Ratatoskr's attack speed is insane. Between these two items, they do MORE for you than the one Acorn of Yggdrasil in the new kit considering two acorns gave pen and +50 power and the other two gave +50 power and 25% CDR! Compare Dart pre-rework to the new Dart and it's a complete nerf aside from the slow. Dart before allowed you to pass through your opponent and if you hit another god, you were free to keep going immediately for each new god hit, without having to land an Acorn blast on an enemy (minion or god). Now if you hit a god, you no longer pass through them but rather slow them, which is really dangerous if you don't stun them with your Acorn Blast because you can't dash out within 10s like you could before. Ratatoskr is one of those gods that's extremely squishy, especially with the people that can't play him (if you build him like a glass cannon), and now he has limited escape potential by having to rely on another ability for the Dart cooldown. This change to Dart has just made it impossible for the "in-and-out" capabilities of Rat because that slow cause by Dart can be negated by several items. On 3v3 Joust alone, you can cover so much ground when retreating if you Dart through your opponent and then dart again for an easy escape (even more if you hit multiple gods while retreating). Combine this with Opal acorn with Deathbringer/Malice or any crit items and it can shred them with damage as you escape. OR you can even CC them with a double dart if you choose to go to the Topaz Acorn path. This also ties into the use of Flurry of Acorns. Flurry of Acorns originally spread 12 acorns around him that returned to him after a moment. My use for this was to activate Flurry of Acorns and then Dart through my opponent. The trail of Acorns would follow me and and penetrate my opponent for more damage, not counting the crit I might get with Opal Acorn with my dash. While the new flurry shreds protections up to 24%, I think it would have been better to have kept the actual "Flurry of Acorns" and have each acorn lower protections with 2% per acorn Because that math is amazing.,12 Acorns with 24% Protection shred, and you can have it scale up to that and have the acorns start out at .5% shred per acorn for an early game of 6% protection shred. This would make team fights that much more deadly if you could pop your acorns and then Dart through a group of enemies because each passing acorn will lower multiple gods protections as your dashing through them, and because you wouldn't rely on another ability for the Dart cooldown, hitting a new god would allow you to dart that much more ad when there's no new god, you can easily dart out of combat if you choose. This brings me to he's final ability, Acorn Blast. I believe this is the ability that received the most love and is now more usable if you didn't pursue an Emerald Acorn or Sapphire because now your acorns will stun if you connect with at least three! It also has a cool sounding effect and I think Hi-Rez did a marvelous job with its buff. His Ultimate is also another notable complement I must give to them. With the addition of this knockup, It will be much easier to chase down gods, initiate engagements, and provide more for a team by setting them up. I apologise for this rant but these are my thoughts on Ratatoskr's patch. I think this patch was to satisfy those who ever took the time to play him and just complained because if you truly look at his kit and his passive, it's a whole 'nother world of gameplay that we've just lost because people would rather complain than learn him. Ratatoskr had that special thing about him that separated him from other assassins and he's really good right now (pre-patch). Ratatoskr far outshines other assassins and I believe people would rather complain than learn how to play as him, because he is such a unique god and I cannot allow this wonderfully flexible god to go to waste to the masses.
