An 800 years old oak tree in the village of Savinac, near Takovo (the municipality of Gornji Milanovac in Serbia, has found itself in the middle of the highway that is under construction, on the route Belgrade - Preljina (Corridor 11). The volume of the oak is 7.5 meters, it takes up an area of 4 acres and it has a 40 meters tree top. As such, it is one of the largest and oldest trees in Serbia.
