Dollar General corporate wants to drastically cut back the clothes and shoes (and pajamas!) section and bring in more home decor. While that may be fine for towns that have a Walmart, where are we going to go when our kid can't find their other shoe and needs a pair NOW, no time for Denver or Amazon? Or you had a rough day at work and you want some nice new jammies to put on without having to do laundry? Or you can't find any socks that match??
