The Board of Directors at Shannon Lake subdivision in Greenville, SC have obtained a permit from fish and wildlife to do a "eliminate the geese on the lake" through hired "licensed shooters". All of the home owners were not aware and many are very upset. Some people love the geese there and feed them. A proposal is being made to the Board of Directors at Shannon Lake to usethe services of Goosebusters II and Izzie's Pond tocontrol the geese population. A local resident is including a check with the proposal to cover all the costs incurred by this alternate humane method. Lets not kill these beautiful creatures, but rather use a humane way to control the geese population.
