The Meriden Humane Society is being forced to vacate! The many cats and dogs who were saved will have nowhere to go once they need to leave.

I have recently encountered this program hoping to find a nice place to volunteer, and immediately received an email to contact the City of Meriden to prevent its closure. My goal is to get at least 500 signatures, meaning that there are 500 people willing to fight for this cause, and hopefully be able to sway the City of Meriden and the current mayor.

I currently attend Quinnipiac University, and am willing to spend as much time as I can to ensure these animals are able to stay.
