Wilma's Place is not only Cathedral's Alternative Education, it is also a second home to many of the students. Wilma's provides a safe, secure environment, offering services such as a food bank, a lunch program, laundry services, counselling and other opportunities that allow these students who were believed to become nothing, excel and do the exact opposite. Removing the program from the current location and placing it in an elementary school that fails to provide etiquette services is like ripping this second chance away from individuals who need it the most. The Family Community that has built up through out the years surrounding Wilma's Place will not stand by and quietly watch! Please sign the petition to help keep Wilma's Place in it's rightful spot!
