I am truly overwhelmed by the way so many of you have stepped up to support this department. We are almost at five hundred signatures which is a number I never imagined we would reach without your help. Please help me get us across this threshold so we can show everyone exactly how much this cause means to our community.

its about time they listened to the students. chemistry is one of the best courses here really happy it gets to stay
so glad this is getting sorted. chemistry is essential for a uni like sussex dont know what they were thinking in the first place
huge relief!! sussex wouldnt be the same without a proper chem department

This is great news. Science needs to be a priority not something they just cut to save a few quid.
