After 10 yrs of successful events the MRC (melbourne racing club) has decided to cancel the remaining 3 years of the events contract, no reason or explanation has been giving why the event and its promoter has been black listed. The residents(who moved to the area knowing full well that there was a race track next door and thats why there houses are so cheap) are also trying to have easternats and every other motoring event canceled due to the noise from a race track that has been there since 1962.
