Hi guys and gals. If you have not heard the news by now, Swinburne has decided to no longer support the petrol FSAE team, and will focus solely on the electric FSAE car in 2011. There are many reasons behind this, all of which are too long to go through in here. However, there is a group of us within the team that disagrees with this judgement. Part of the reasons is the lack of student support. For the money Swinburne invests in team Swinburne, the number of students involved is not enough. If petrol FSAE is to continue at Swinburne, we need to convince the university that people do care about petrol SAE. Please sign this petition to show Swinburne University that you do not agree with this decision. Hopefully we can have petrol FSAE re-instated, and give Monash a run for their money next year.
