No contingency plans if this supply is irretrievably damaged. 5. 17,000 trucking trips per day required to distribute the goods. 6. Totally inadequate roads for projected trucking levels. 7. Noise and pollution nightmare. 8. Kent already has some of the highest rates for asthema sufferers. 9. Gridlock for Kent's roads. 10. 1000 direct jobs. 10% to Chinese workers. No evidence of other quality jobs to local people. 11. 2000 secondary jobs suggested by developer for local workers - grass mowing, window cleaning, vending supplies, blinds and signage etc. 12. Approximately 2000 unemployed people in Thanet, some of whom cannot work. Together with other "regeneration schemes" in the area there are many more jobs on paper than unemployed! 13. Quality of life for Thanet destroyed. 14. Environment/wildlife destroyed. 15. Tourism destroyed. 16. Real possibility of homes in the area being blighted permanently.
