2. To rescind the HRM Policy which requires the Municipality to first offer publicly owned and surplus buildings to not-for-profit agencies in the neighbourhood BEFORE taking bids from developers are bad decisions and should be reversed.

Total incompetence by the city hall as usual. Keep the building public.
Ridiculous. We need these services in the north end way more than we need another overpriced apartment building. Listen to the people who actually live here.
so sad to see what is happening to the neighborhood. st pats means way too much to the folks around here to just hand it over to the highest bidder.
The policy was there for a reason. Why change it now just to squeeze money out of every plot of land? Leave the space for the non profits.

This building belongs to the community not some developer who is just gonna tear it down for condos. Stop selling off our history.
