President Barack Obama has dedicated the first weeks of his Presidency to changing the tone in Washington by reaching out to Republicans and Democrats and urging everyone to work together to effect change in this county. And how have Republicans responded They've sided with Rush Limbaugh, as he expressed that he hopes Obama fails. The GOP Chairman even apologized for seeming to distance himself from Rush. Tell the GOP to support the President as he works to turn the economy around. The times are too important for the GOP to be hoping that the President fails. I support President Obama and I hope he succeeds. I know that the National GOP represents the Maine Republican Party and Senators Collins and Snowe. I want to send a message that the Maine Republican Party and Senators Collins and Snowe must go on the record and tell Limbaugh and the National GOP that this is not the time for blind partisanship and destructive rhetoric.
