DEXTER: DON\'T KILL SERGEANT DOAKES!!!
As any true fan of the Showtime hit series \"Dexter\" knows, Sergeant James Doakes is in danger. I\'m a fan of Jeff Lindsey\'s books. And my friends and I have watched this intriguing series since it\'s first episode, season one. We couldn\'t have imagined the dynamic interaction between Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Sergeant Doakes (Erik King). It has been one of the highlights of the show for me. We get together each week looking forward to the mind games that Dexter and Doakes play with each other. Doakes is unique not only because he\'s been suspicious of Dexter from the beginning but also because he has that no-nonsense, direct and acerbic quality that many cops have, peppered with very \"colorful language\" and GREAT one-liners. All the twist and turns in past episodes have kept us on the edge of our seats hoping that Doakes wouldn\'t discover Dexter\'s \"Dark Passenger\". Now that he has, we find ourselves rooting for Doakes to survive. We\'re concerned that one of these guys has his days numbered and we don\'t think that it\'s Dexter since he\'s the main character. But we can\'t imagine \"Dexter\" without Doakes, they\'re conjoined. Hero and Anti-hero, which is which Maybe they can join forces. But we can\'t imagine \"Dexter\" without Doakes, they\'re conjoined. Hero and Anti-hero, which is which Maybe they can join forces. Or as we know, all who die on \"Dexter\" aren\'t necessarily dead (Rudy and Harry). Maybe Doakes could become part of Dexter\'s conscious. I just can\'t see killing off the character permanently. Doakes is the man! It\'s been reported in the press that there will be a Season Three of \"Dexter\". Even though it seems to be a trend to \"bump off\" main characters on popular shows that we\'ve come to love, (Hector from the Unit/Demore Barnes) I can\'t imagine the show without Sgt. Doakes. The entire cast of \"Dexter\" is great, even though some of the characters annoy me personally, we all love the way the actors play them. I petition that we \"SAVE SERGEANT DOAKES\". If you agree, please sign the petition. SAVE SERGEANT DOAKES!
