Women’s rugby, similar to other women’s sports, is given very little media attention and almost no television coverage. The governing bodies, both national and international, responsible for the promotion and development of women’s rugby must work with broadcasters to ensure equality of coverage for the women’s game. All women’s international rugby matches must be shown live on television.
