The FCC is about to open radio frequencies to select nonprofits and YOU can help SiaNet Radio get on air!! SiaNet is part of Understream Network's nonprofit group and has been run by artists within the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for over 12 years. The focus of the station is to familiarize the public with the amazing musicians that are in the area. We do this by playing their music 24 hours a day, giving artists their own shows and interviewing them on live shows. SiaNet Radio is run in a studio dedicated to the cause. Currently, there are about 7 live shows run directly out of that studio by artists and musicians from the Twin Cities. If we are granted a radio frequency, we will be able to broadcast for a 10 mile radius from our NE Minneapolis studio. This would include downtown Minneapolis and Dinkytown. If you think that our community needs an alternative to corporate and multi-million dollar radio station, please sign up!
