After the closure of Heathfield Academy in Earl Shilton Leicestershire.

We wonder what is to become of the school,

Rumour has it that there is to be yet another housing estate to be built on the land.

Two local councillors Mrs Janice Richards & Mrs Ruth Camamile have suggested Heathfield be re-opened as a much needed primary/junior school for the area.

Heathfield would be ideal for this, with Heathfield already having its very own swimming pool & large playing fields not to mention the capacity to probably hold to up to 800 +children.

Our intentions are to support & help both the above councillors achieve there aim.
