Journalists carefully consider their political activities and community involvements – including those online – and refrain from taking part in demonstrations, signing petitions, doing public relations work, fundraising or making financial contributions if there is a chance they will be covering the campaign, activity or group involved. Hmmmmmm.. let's see,The Enterprise-Bulletinin Collingwood, chose to hire Steve Berman as their Political Columnist. Perhaps they have missed out on his trashy blog that he uses to do nothing but BASH pretty much anyone in political office or who works for the town. Perhaps, they missed out on the fact that he recently lost his bid to be a Councillor in Collingwood. Perhaps they simply don't care how much they are sullying the name of the reputation of a paper that has served the citizens of Collingwood for several generations. He MUST go in order to preserve what little integrity is left at the EB!!!
