Mr. Daly, vice principal at St. Thomas More Secondary School located in Hamilton, ON is known to be disrespectful, racist, and definitely chooses sides when conflict arises. He is a factor that is inducing students' mental health. More and more students at STM are being diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and various mental illnesses and he is not taking us seriously. It seems as though he looks down upon students with parents that are foreign and cannot properly speak the English language. He forgets that everyone is equal. The students at STM want a kind-spirited, calm, and understanding vice principal to be monitoring the school, he does not seem to show these characteristics. He speaks badly about other students which is totally unprofessional. He puts students who are not in any wrong doing under unnecessary distress. It is also known that he has a bias mindset, and believes stereotypes. Recently, he has been following around a black student who's name will not be stated for privacy reasons, with no valid reason, making the youth feel extremely uncomfortable. He raises his voice with teenage girls with his goal being to scare them and make them cry. In addition to this, Mr. Daly also makes unjust suspensions and does not follow his own code of conduct. Overall, many students at this school feel very unsafe with Mr. Daly being a vice principal at this school, they do not feel as if he is a proper fit for the job. Please sign this if you agree.
