This is the proposed idea.
To stop future road / track closures so that we can access our own country without any hassle we ask for you to agree to the following points.
- Clean up your campsite after every stop, meal and or break.
- Do not excessively destroy remaining tracks. This means no excessive wheel spin, burnouts / donuts.
- Always respect other people, whether they are other 4x4 drivers or residents on or near the specific track.
- Help others when needed.
- Engage yourself in "clean up" activities around your state.
If you agree to the above points and which to travel Australia without missing the best tracks and scenery then please sign this petition.
With this petition and also Roothy's Unlock Australia we can enjoy our own backyard and stop people shutting it down.

I really have no words for how many people feel the same way about our tracks as I do. Seeing your stories and your commitment to responsible driving shows me that this has become far bigger than just one person.

Adelaide has almost no access to anything! What I wouldn't give to explore mt lofty, belair n surrounding area!! Clogged fire trails branching off everywhere but locked! 4wders would clear those fire trails for nothing!!
4wding and camping all over Australia, our boys have experienced more in their short life than most do in a lifetime. No technology, just good ol Mother Nature. Nothing more frustrating than a closed gate!!!
I am tired of being forced to travel 2hrs plus, just to get my wheels dirty! I support any organization which promotes safe, clean and environmently conscious outdoor recreaction (e.g. 4x4, mtn bike, dirt bike, etc
This is the exact same reason why I started this petition. For me, thinking about starting a family soon, I'd love nothing more than to take my children around Australia and see the beautiful outdoors before they lose interest!
There will always be morons who ruin it for everyone but why ruin it for the majority of us that do the right thing and even go that extra mile and clean up after others. We can work together and name and shame when we see people doing the wrong thing
Ask 24/7 4x4 what the traks are like the USA and how they keep the tracks open and monitored
Keep tracks open and let the 4WD community educate others in responsible use

Victoria should be looked at for inspiration, national parkes working with four wheel drivers to keep the tracks open and in good condition.
