The exam boards finally listened and canceled the in-person testing requirements. After months of grieving and fighting for our safety, this decision means no other student has to risk their life just to sit for an exam. Thank you for staying by my side while we pushed for this change.

While the western nations continue to move past the third wave, vaccination programmes has enabled the likes of UK to end the national lockdowns and start in person school, and jobs again.
Unfortunately rest of the world is still suffering. Only a very small number of people in Bangladesh are vaccinated.
Bangladesh is already very overpopulated, and the current situation remains in a bad state high infection rates and deaths.
While students in countries such as UK return back to school, English exam boards are forgetting to examine the state of countries such as Bangladesh, where COVID is still at the forefront, affecting their mental health, and studies. Students have been unable to attend schools, college and universities or get the in person support needed, yet some exam boards are proceeding with in person exams, rather than using predicted grades. With a such short notice, it will further add pressure to the mental health of students.
Student will be unable to perform at their maximum potential due to the ongoing affects of the pandamic. Therefore, we would like to urge the exam boards to re consider any changes and to take into consideration of the current state of the country and how the pandamic is affecting students potential abilites.
We don't want to lose another Rodela, from Manikganj Sadar, an eighth-grader, who sadly passed away due to attending school during pandamic. Please stop in person exams in Bangladesh.

Seeing one thousand signatures on this page reminds me that I am not fighting alone for the safety of our students. My heart aches for families like Rodela's and I refuse to let these exam boards ignore our reality any longer.

During this pandemic it is very risky for us to sit for exams. Now that we heard the news of a student passing away after school was reopened we simply can't risk it. So we want the exams to be cancelled
The corona virus pandemic is getting worse. And due to lack of schools classes and practical and mock exams we are not prepared for the O/A level exams.please think about us. Neither we can have a year loss. So please take teacher assisment or give us predicted grades.
Im hsc candidate. I could not study as our schools were off. It is a pressure to complete syllabus within a month and sit for exam. Better we get assignment based grade this time and start full fledged classes for the next session. Students are also dying in covid and I don't want to risk my health
# Doesn't our lives matter. After all if exams take place we can't ignore it even if we are infected which may also cause danger to other students. Even if there's check points no one will want to lose their affords.
British Council Bangladesh played a huge game with the students with false news and now they decided to take physical exam whereas we students are not yet vaccinated . Students are already started dying due to Covid. Bangladesh education board is hiding everything.

We don't want exams to be in person because they taught us online the whole year, now if ur gonna feed us half a plate of food (meaning online classes) and ask us to do a job thats of a full plate of food (offline classes) it doesn't work does it??
