Sheetz is looking to build a new store on Center Avenue, and we need your help. This will greatly affect the residential area if it happens. Property value will decrease, constant lights coming in our windows, traffic it will generate in an already congested area...the list goes on. As the mother of two small children, I also concerned with the amount of people who will be right across the street from my house all hours of the day... and not to mention the noise. We proposed that Sheetz break ground for they're new store across from their existing location by the Butler Boy Scouts. This will not affect any of the residential homes, and will still allow Sheetz to expand their store. Sheetz was reluctant, due to extra excavating that would need done. I would much rather have a large corporation foot the bill for the expansion of their company then the residents of the neighborhood paying the price. Please help us.
I have been spending my nights reviewing the site plans and mapping out exactly how much light pollution will bleed into our living rooms if this goes forward. We are not just fighting a store because we are stubborn but because we are protecting our children from a future of constant traffic and noise right at our front doors.

Seeing this kind of momentum backing our neighborhood is proof that people care about protecting our homes. My children deserve to grow up in a quiet street without a massive parking lot staring into their bedroom windows. We are finally proving to this company that our quality of life is not theirs to trade for a cheaper construction bill.

Ridiculous that they wont just dig a little further down. Putting profit over people again. Not in our neighborhood!!

My property value is already struggling and this would just kill it. Say no to the sheetz development on center ave.

Center Ave is way to busy already. We dont need semi trucks and drunk people hanging out in front of our houses at 3am. Put it across the street!

This whole plan is crazy. I live right there and the light pollution will be terrible for my kids bedrooms. Take the other spot and leave us alone!
