Do not be decieved into believing "Nigerian 419 Scammers" operate from a specific area in the world. Nigerian scammers have become a global menace, operating from every corner of the world.

The Nigerian 419 Scam setup has been emptying the pockets of their unsuspecting victims for decades—through bogus emails, yahoo groups and now via dating websites! Their fraudelent operations range from the one-man-band criminal, who can rake in several thousand dollars a year, to highly organised groups raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars per month. Some victims have even been lured to Nigeria, where they have been imprisoned or even murdered.

The financial loss is recoverable in some cases, however the long term emotional and psychological affects of being victimized by these scams are far more devastating. How is it that these criminals, have gotten away with accomplishing these dastardly deeds for so long? This has to stop! We must join together to declare war on these criminals!
