This petition is aiming to reduce robbery rates around Oakland Tech by requesting police cars to patrol the area around Oakland Tech from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.. According to MyLocalCrime.com, 31 robberies/thefts have occurred around Oakland Tech this month! We also discovered that 14/31 of these crimes happened between 11AM to 7 PM. We feel that it is necessary to have a safe environment around Tech, because we should not have to feel unsafe when walking around our school. We want everyone to stay and feel safe at/around Oakland Tech.
