Stop Teign Housing Building in green space and car park in Glebelands, Buckfastleigh. TQ11 0BJ
This is to stop Teign Housing from building new houses on a small area of land in the middle of Glebelands, Buckfastleigh which is already congested.
The parking is needed for current ressidents because there is no on street parking avalible.
We understand the need for new housing but this plot of land is to small and would compromise the living standards of existing tenants some of which are physically disabled.
Please help our cause.

Teign Housing is finally starting to feel the heat from this movement. We are making them nervous because they know this land grab is a disgrace and our pressure is only beginning to mount.

As a resident who lives opposite this piece of land I strongly object to it being built on. It would have a direct impact on the already poor parking facilities here. People on many occasions have had to park on the grass verges. We would be overlooked and more importantly our light and view would be destroyed. There are other places more suitable for building. This land should be used for the benefit of local families to encourage outdoor activities and education around healthy living.
This would be great for kids they are learning about growing plants in school this area will be perfect for them to do it close to home also plus there is wild life there they can't remove wild life or there home
Having lived here 10 years now you see that the parking is already abysmal work truck's hoping to get up and down the road would be awful..build where there is access and not needs for other things first
This area is already congested and has limited parking. We should be conserving the few green spaces we have not building on them.
Our children need this for their future. All of their connection with nature is going. Soon they won't even know what grass feels like, how to be creative and self sufficient. Please do not build on this land.
Keep glebelands green for both residents and wildlife. We do live in the country after all.

Having lived here for 30 yrs and seeing the amount of traffic that is already here with limited parking , we do not want anymore homes the land should be used as allotments . It's already a nightmare driving up and down with the average house having more than one car - getting an ambulance or fire truck up here sometimes is scary . Why does every piece of ground have to be built on - let people use it . Go build somewhere else .
