North Tees and Hartlepool NHS foundation trust have decided to close the two childrens day nurseries at Sockton and Hartlepool. This will result in the loss of nearly 60 jobs and 180 families will have to find alternative Childcare. The two nurseries are popular with the staff of both hospitals and also serve the wider community. Both will be a great loss.
