Please sign and let the Pitt County School board know that parents should have a choice on whether they want to mask their child or not. The School Board has no jurisdiction over the autonomy of the parent-child relationship. Masks have been proven to be ineffective against the spread of COVID-19. In fact, they can be quite dangerous when worn for prolonged periods of time. An analysis conducted on 6 children who wore the mask for up to 6 hours a day found dangerous pathogens, parasites and fungi. We advocate for physical well being of the children and against forced compliance which nullifies individual liberty.

Please stop the mask mandate. The mask doesn't block the COVID 19 virus; it only block the amount of fresh air our children need. Thank you!
Studies have proven children very rarely spread the disease or die from this disease. In addition, studies have shown masks do not stop the spread of the virus. So, there is no need to be masking children.
Do away with masks, thats the whole point of vaccines. We don’t mask for the flu or anything else!!
I know it is within your authority to mandate mask coverings, but I also know you must address this policy every month at public meetings, hearing from parents and concerned citizens, and listening to public comments. I hope you will take this petition very seriously because it represents the parents’ extreme frustration and opposition to the mask mandate. An “optional mask” policy plan would be the more appropriate policy in light of the facts and statistics surrounding the so-called COVID “pandemic.” I can provide you with such facts and figures and statistical analysis.
Wayne County has voted to go optional with mask. Pitt County needs to do the same.
