Verizon Wireless has submitted an application (Case # ZUP15-0005) to the City of Chandler for a new Monopalm Verizon Cell Tower. The monopalm would be located at the NW Corner of the Veteran's Oasis Park. Not only will the cell tower be placed on PARK LAND, but it will also be directly adjacent to Avian Trails, a residential housing development full of children. It will be less than 300 feet from a residential neighborhood!
The monopalm will be almost 5 stories high and with our flat desert topography it will be visible from all angles for a long ways. This monopalm would immediately decrease surrounding property values and may pose serious health risks.Please make your voice heard and sign the Petition Against the Installation of the Monopalm. We have nothing to gain and everything to lose.
